FIVE REASONS WHY THE LIT STRENGTH MACHINE IS THE IDEAL PILATES REFORMER

FIVE REASONS WHY THE LIT STRENGTH MACHINE IS THE IDEAL PILATES REFORMER

Last Modified:
Low Impact Training (LIT™) and the LIT Strength Machine™ are now delivering the world’s only ROW x REFORM workout!

Did you know that the LIT Strength Machine seamlessly transforms from a rower and resistance trainer to the ultimate reformer and Pilates partner — empowering users to strengthen posture, precision, and performance?

With the LIT Strength Machine, we’ve taken the classic Pilates reformer and its features and reimagined them with a focus on LIT principles — all while retaining our beloved signature rowing features.

The LIT Strength Machine’s rowing modality allows users to combine LIT’s signature variations and its resistance band technology for an innovative approach to each stroke. But we’ve coupled that with LIT’s Pilates programming to bring you the first and only all-in-one rower and reformer experience.

HERE ARE FIVE REASONS WHY THE LIT STRENGTH MACHINE IS THE IDEAL PILATES REFORMER ON THE MARKET:

1.) BURN 5X MORE CALORIES THAN WITH A TRADITIONAL PILATES REFORMER

Traditional Pilates reformers are undoubtedly effective machines — but your average calorie burn for a 60-minute reformer session is nowhere near what it is during LIT’s Row x Reform programming.

In a standard Pilates session, a person weighing 120 pounds can expect to burn approximately 170 calories per hour. While the caloric burn increases with weight, most Pilates workouts burn a third or less of the calories you can burn in a LIT Row x Reform session.

Our Low Impact Training take on Pilates — an innovative combination of the most challenging parts of Pilates and rowing — allows the user to incorporate the best Boltcult burning exercises for a maximum caloric burn of up to 750 calories per hour.

2.) LIT PILATES ACCESSORIES

LIT is a wellness and tech company — which means we are consistently innovating and delivering state-of-the-art proprietary equipment and accessories to evolve and improve the Low Impact Training experience.

LIT RESISTANCE SEAT

With the LIT resistance seat, your rowing seat is designed to function as the ultimate Pilates carriage. Use the seat to perform lunges, planks, pikes, and more.

LIT CUFFS

The LIT cuffs function as pilates loops and can be worn on both the ankles and wrists for doing a variety of poses and exercises such as leg and arm circles, rows, the frog, and the hundred.

LIT PRECISION BANDS

Our LIT Precision bands not only replace the need for conventional springs found on a typical pilates reformer, but with eight attachment points, the user can perform exercises in the sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes of motion and find maximum versatility in a 360-degree setting around the machine.

Expect to decrease your risk of injury, correct posture, increase your mobility and flexibility, and isolate major and macro muscles with no impact on joints.

3.) 10X THE FUNCTION AT HALF THE PRICE

The LIT Strength Machine™ is $1750 and can be financed for as low as $36/month. Traditional Pilates reformers with towers retail anywhere from $2200-$8000 and beyond.

But you’re also getting the rowing and strength training modalities in one machine. The world’s first and only all-in-one rower, reformer, and strength trainer will allow you and anyone in your household with shared or varying goals to get the most out of this machine.

With more than 500+ Low Impact Training exercises in everything from cardio, rowing, strength, barre, recovery, Pilates, and more — we ensure your reformer is also a revolutionary home gym delivering on all your needs at an affordable price point.

4.) FLEXIBLE FOOTPRINT

The average pilates reformer with a tower can be quite cumbersome — weighing between 150 and 300 pounds with dimensions anywhere from 6’ 8” long by 1’8” wide to 8’ 4” long by 2’ 6” wide.

Traditional reformers also store horizontally or must be disassembled to fit in a smaller space.

Our reformer is 7’ by 1’ 6”, weighs 89 pounds with water included, stores vertically, and has wheels for portability.

Additionally, while the LIT Strength Machine offers a compact, portable, and connected rower and reformer experience, the machine itself does not require electricity! Use your smart TV or just pop your iPad or smartphone onto the machine’s tablet holder and access LIT’s On-Demand programming.

5.) ALL-IN-ONE ROWER, REFORMER, AND STRENGTH TRAINING MACHINE

With Low Impact Training, less is always more. And that’s no exception when it comes to the minimalist nature of our equipment and experience.

When we designed the LIT Strength Machine, we wanted to ensure that more than one goal didn’t require more than one machine. If you are a person who loves Pilates and Rowing, but your significant other loves Strength Training, we’ve got you covered. If you like to mix and match workouts, we’ve got you covered. From Pilates enthusiasts to recreational rowers, to those recovering from injuries, the 500+ Low Impact Training exercises offered on our machine ensure the elimination of two things:

Broken bodies and boredom.

We’re here to build you, not break you. Monotony and a lack of dynamic exercises create the perfect landscape for overuse injuries. We help you avoid that by offering a machine that allows you a total body experience anytime, anywhere.

Why get just a reformer when you can also have the rest?
