Homemade Cashew Milk! Nom nom nom.

Cashew Milk 

No Nut Bag? No Problem! 

1. Soak 1 cup raw cashews for 4-6 hours (or overnight). 

2. Strain and rinse the cashews.

3. Blend together the cashews, and 3 cups of filtered water, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 pinch of sea salt, and a sweetener (2 pitted dates, 2 tbsp of honey, or 2 tbsp maple syrup). 

4. Refrigerate in air tight container and enjoy in 5-7 days.

 

Making your own nut milks are a great way to save money on your whole milk alternatives! You can make Cashew Milk, Almond Milk, Hemp Milk, Brazil Nut Milk, Macadamia Nut Milk, etc. The options are ENDLESS!
