Löyly Nordic Spa

Löyly is building something America hasn't seen: a true Scandinavian bathhouse experience, franchised to every city in the country. That ambition creates a design problem most studios never face, the space can't just be beautiful once, it has to be beautiful repeatably. We started with the flagship. Twelve Stealth Luxe XL cold plunges run in parallel across the floor, framed by blond-wood platforms beneath steel-framed windows and a wall of natural light, cold immersion, in public, in daylight, the way the Nordics actually do it. The platforms are the quiet masterstroke: built-in stepped millwork that hides every chiller inside the architecture, so guests see warm wood and black steel, never equipment. Twelve plunges and zero visible machinery. What Löyly owns now isn't just a stunning flagship. It's a blueprint — every plunge, step, and chiller placement documented and ready to rebuild in the next city, and the one after that.
