1010 Alfred St.

In Los Angeles, every luxury building promises the same three things: the view, the pool, the gym. 1010 Alfred wanted a fourth thing nobody on the block could match — so we put the spa inside the residence. Every penthouse features its own sauna and cold plunge, designed into the floor plan like they were always meant to be there — not an amenity you book, but a room you own. Twelve floors down, we designed the building's shared wellness level: a Pilates reformer studio and a multifunctional gym that gives every resident a boutique-studio experience without leaving the lobby. For the tenant, it's recovery in a bathrobe — no elevator, no schedule, no shared water. For the building, it's the line in the listing that ends the tour: "the penthouse comes with its own sauna and cold plunge." Some amenities get used. This one gets talked about.

Titan Sauna & Cedar Barrel Cold Plunge in each penthouse suite. Formafold Pilates Reformer in the main gym.
