What Is Covered

For five (5) years from the original delivery date, LIT Method will repair or replace any component found to be defective due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and operation.

All LED panels and modules are covered against abnormal failure due to manufacturing defects. The Lumé's 21,000+ medical-grade LEDs are engineered for up to 100,000 hours of operation.

Power Supplies & Electrical Components

All factory-installed power supplies, circuit boards, and internal wiring are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship.

Touchscreen Control System

The integrated touchscreen control system and Wi-Fi communication module are covered against manufacturing defects for the full warranty period.

Hydraulic Lift & Canopy Mechanism

The hydraulic lift system and canopy mechanism are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.

Frame & Structural Housing

The Lumé's aviation-grade aluminum structure and housing are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the full five-year warranty period.

Cooling, Ventilation & Integrated Electronics

Cooling and ventilation components, factory-installed speakers, and all other integrated electronics are covered against manufacturing defects.

For commercial installations requiring onsite service, LIT Method may provide replacement parts, remote diagnostics, or onsite service through an authorized technician.

What Is Not Covered

The following are excluded from this Limited Warranty regardless of the nature of the defect or failure.

  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, chips, discoloration, or normal wear and tear.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper operation.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • Improper installation, electrical wiring, or failure to follow installation instructions.
  • Commercial use beyond intended operating guidelines.
  • Damage caused by power surges, lightning, flooding, fire, acts of nature, or other external events.
  • Consumable items and accessories.
  • Transportation damage not reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Loss of revenue, business interruption, downtime, or consequential damages.

Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, owners must meet the following requirements.

  • Operate the Lumé in accordance with all provided instructions and guidelines.
  • Maintain proper electrical service and environmental conditions.
  • Use the equipment only for its intended purpose.
  • Promptly report any operational issues to LIT Method.
  • Allow LIT Method the opportunity to diagnose and remedy any covered issue before third-party repairs are performed.

Replacement Parts & Transferability

Important terms regarding replacement components and warranty coverage transferability.

  • Any replacement component supplied under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
  • This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location unless otherwise approved in writing by LIT Method.
  • LIT Method's maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Lumé™ Red Light Therapy Bed.
  • LIT Method shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Our technical support team will work with you to troubleshoot the issue remotely before arranging service or replacement.

Receive Parts, Repair Instructions, or Service

If a covered defect is confirmed, LIT Method will provide replacement parts, repair instructions, or arrange service through an authorized technician.
