The Titan gives you both in one unit, so you don't have to choose. Traditional heat (via the Harvia stove) heats the air around you to up to 200°F and it's the classic Finnish sauna experience, great for total body detox and high-intensity heat exposure. Infrared heat uses carbon panels to warm your body directly at 150°F without significantly raising the air temperature and it penetrates deeper into muscle tissue, making it better for recovery after workouts, reducing inflammation, and longer sessions. 

Use traditional heat for deep detoxes and switch to infrared on strength training days for faster recovery. You can only use one mode at a time.

Yes. The gunmetal exterior is engineered specifically for outdoor exposure including UV, rain, snow, and temperature swings. The double-insulated glass panels retain heat efficiently even in cold climates. If you're placing it outdoors in cold climates, you'll want to upgrade to the 8KW heater which can handle freezing temperatures as low as -30F.

The Base 6KW Harvia uses built-in controls on the stove itself — you adjust temperature directly on the unit. The WiFi 6KW adds a separate digital control panel and app connectivity so you can pre-heat remotely from your phone. The WiFi 8KW is the same app-connected experience but with a more powerful stove — better for the 4-5 person unit, larger outdoor spaces, or climates that get very cold.

For most of the install floor, walls, glass panels, ceiling no electrician is needed. The panels use a precision locking system and go together in about 2 hours with two people. The one step that requires a licensed electrician is connecting the Harvia stove, which runs on a 240V dedicated circuit (20–25A depending on the model).
