Shipping Timeline

All in-stock products ship within 7 business days of purchase. You will receive tracking information once your order has left our warehouse.

Due to high demand, certain sauna models may be on backorder. For the most accurate lead times, please contact us at info@litmethod.com prior to purchase.


Outdoor Sauna Deliveries

Our outdoor sauna models require a more involved installation than indoor units and require at least 2 people present to receive delivery.

Important Delivery Details:

  • All freight deliveries are curbside only and arrive on a large pallet.

  • The freight carrier will unload the pallet from the truck using a liftgate.

  • The carrier will not move the pallet into your driveway, garage, or home.

  • You are responsible for transporting the sauna components from the curb to your installation location.

We recommend having at least 2 helpers and a dolly or flat cart available at the time of delivery.

Once received, do not leave your crate exposed to the elements. Water intrusion can severely damage the product and void claims.


Inspecting Your Shipment

Shipping damage is rare but must be handled properly if it occurs.

Visible Damage

If you notice dents, punctures, crushing, or external damage:

  • Clearly note the damage on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading).

  • Be specific in your description.

  • The driver must sign acknowledging the damage.


Concealed Damage

Damage not visible at delivery is considered concealed damage.

  • Open and inspect all boxes within 5 business days of delivery.

  • Retain all original packaging.

  • If the driver cannot wait while you inspect, write “Possible Concealed Damage” on the delivery receipt.

Failure to document or report damage within 5 business days may impact claim eligibility.

Receiving Instructions

  • Shipments may consist of multiple boxes secured to a single pallet.

  • Delivery includes liftgate service and a scheduled delivery appointment.

  • Carefully inspect packaging before signing.

  • If boxes appear dropped or compromised, attempt to inspect before the driver leaves.


Refusing a Freight Shipment

If your shipment arrives significantly damaged and unusable, contact info@litmethod.com before refusing delivery.

Unauthorized refusals may be treated as a return and subject to restocking and freight charges.


Freight Carrier Fees

  • Delivery is curbside only.

  • Additional services requested (inside delivery, redelivery, etc.) are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Missed appointments may result in storage or redelivery fees billed to the customer.

  • If the carrier cannot reach you to schedule delivery, any resulting fees will be charged to the card on file.
